About Me

For my professional background, please check out my Linkedin profile.

Not that I’m my job title!  Outside work I’m a husband, father, friend, wannabe runner, part time beekeeper and fiercely proud Kiwi.

This blog started after I was awarded a Winston Churchill Fellowship (no, not the Lord of the Rings type of fellowship).

I should have started blogging earlier.  Amazing what happens when you say you are going to ship something.

My blog will cover three areas:

  1. Economic development, with a particular focus on how provincial locations outside cities can survive and prosper – the topic of my Winston Churchill Fellowship.
  2. Interesting insights or questions relating to people, strategy or change, the intersection of them, and how they enable high performance.  That’s what I’m passionate about.
  3. Other things along the way…

Please email me if you’d like to get in touch or you’re interested in guest blogging.
